Rain jacket recommendation
I'm about due for a new rain jacket.
I ride through the winter in Olympia, Washington.
I like armpit zippers, a fairly high collar, good visibly with reflective tape.
Easy to grab zipper tabs and quality zippers.
My arms are rather short.
I know it's a long picky list, but you have anything to recommend.
Thanks much in advance.

This brand gets a lot of good feed back and this one is on sale:

I don't own it but I always see them come up as a recommendation.

Agree with Showers Pass as an excellent brand of rain jacket. They continually improve their product line.
I would recommend checking the size in person. When I purchased mine (at least 10 years ago - it still works great!), I was surprised that a Men’s Small fit best, even with my long arms. I’m usually a Medium Tall.

7mesh is based out of Squamish, BC so they know the PNW. This jacket is available for steal here.

I'm giving them another shot because they do seem to continue refining the product.
Thanks for the good price.
At the price I can't complain with as much indignation if I'm somewhat dissatisfied.

bought them both
Well, I bought both.
Kept the Showers Pass.
The 7mesh was not anywhere near the quality in design or material.
Just thought I would present the review for others interested in a similar product.
Thanks again for the recommendation and low prices.

I've had a Showers Pass jacket for years; it has served me well. For some reason, back in the early spring I bought a somewhat fancy one directly from Gorewear.com, mostly to have something I could wear off the bike that looked relatively normal, partly for the elusive gore-tex experience, partly because it has a hood that fits over a helmet. I like it so far; nice to have choices.

PNW guy here. I suggest looking at Cleverhood.

Late to the party but another Showers Pass fan. Been using them ~20 years. Good stuff that keeps getting better. Very well thought out. (I do have one gripe that I have passed on to them multiple times. They need an exterior mesh pocket to stuff dripping wet gloves into for when you duck into a store or espresso cafe. No way you want to put them in an interior pocket! Leave 'em with the bike and they are even wetter and cold when you get back.)
I just bought their rain pants. So far, I've only ridden them once and a couple of around town hikes. Comfortable, breath well, rain simply doesn't matter and ankle details (both velcro and zipper to calf top) work really well. And unzipping doesn't affect the velcro.
The crew at Showers Pass are local riders. They make gear that works for them here.
