Lotus Elite - info, thoughts?
Tried to dig up info on this one and did not find much. The one Lotus Catalog shows the Elite at the lower end of the line-up and the VX components would agree. That said, It is a nice looking ride. I like the colors, pretty good looking fork. Actually like that it has 27" wheels, means there will be room for bigger tires with 700c. Wondering what the tubing might be? made in Japan? Links to Lotus info I couldn't find? thanks

LOL,,,,,,I'm 7th / Walker thinking about going up the 110 if you don't!
Looks like a solid sports tourer at a good price. Have purchased from him in the past with no issues and have always ran the serials through Bike Index and always clean.

Doesn't/Didn't someone here run a vintage Lotus site? The fork looks really nice.
I assume you've asked for more info? Even if it's only CHroMo Magalloy mixed tubing frame it's likely to be a good rider. I'd say if it's around $100 or so and all you really want is the fame go for it.

Go get it, I have plenty. Bike is listed by local flipper who often has nice things at reasonable prices but does no maintenance and will sell bikes with bent forks/painted rims & frozen posts/stems, etc. I have bought from him, but I would inspect carefully

Edit: and will likely see the bike on the road if you are at 7th & Walker
