I'll always think of the 1995 Trek 730 fondly because my dad had that bike. That "Ice Green" color is very pretty in person. I might sound like a broken record saying this, but that Alivio crank is under a 1997 issued Shimano replacement warranty for failures. https://bike.shimano.com/en-NA/infor...2-cranks-.html The official warranty process sounds like a hassle and the newer cranks look ugly on a vintage bike, so you may just want to replace that crank yourself with a different triple.
The Mongoose IBOC Zero G-SX is also from 1995. https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/...spx?item=32495 Back from when they were still a respectable bike store brand. IBOCs are definitely on my radar when I search for stuff on Craigslist and FB Marketplace.
