Changed to crankset from 175mm to knee friendly 170mm. Thankfully got the same crank so was able to reuse the anno rock ring which for some reason I am geeking over. Also switched the brake pads to Kool Stop Eagle Claw II
PS yes I will be checking all the bolts for tightness now that I have run it for a day.

I have no idea, to be honest. I bought them second hand and they don't have any decals or whatsoever. In the mean time, I changed to a similar pair from Trigon with carbon stanchons and rim brake bosses as I choose to use V brakes in the front too.

Thought I'd post mine. ~1991 Specialized Stumpjumper FS picked up for $50. Had fun trying to build it as cheap as possible. Stock drivetrain (Shimano Deore LX) and wheels (Wheelsmith), swapped in a taller stem, rigid fork and 1.5" WTB slicks. Blackburn MTN rear rack, Blackburn Local Deluxe front rack since I had it laying around. If anyone by chance knows the proper seatpost diameter for these bikes let me know. I have a slight suspicion that the Marin seatpost that came with the bike doesn't fit properly.

Recently found this nice Italian to complete my stable. It's a 1990 Cinelli Ottomilainsu. Cromor OR tubing, Deore XT groupset. Cinelli mtb stem,... I never was a real fan of Italian mountainbikes at the time (they were a bit "boring"...) but now I kinda like them.
And today I added another early Italian bike but it needs some care before I will post it on here. But here's a teaser.
