I have an old colnago from 30 years ago I am going to rebuild, any suggestions on who to use fo a top quality repainting job that is reasonable cost, or are the two mutually exclusive.

Bikes: Bilenky, Co-Motion, 1969 Paramount, Waterford Adventure Cycle, Waterford rs 22, 1980 Davidson etc.

Lots of choices - I had Davidsons Bicycles which can be found under Elliot Bay Bicycles which is located in Seattle do a couple for me - Cyclearts in San Fran are great - non of these options are cheap though. But they make you decals, rechrome lugs, pinstripe etc.

Joe Bell does single colour paint jobs for a reasonable cost
He is in So. Cal so shipping is required.
Mary Pfieffer at Koolbikes is in North Carolina and
does an excellent job, prices are reasonable.
I'm going to use Southwestern Frame works in Dallas
to repaint my Pog.
There are also painters advertizing in the back of some
magazines like Velonews and Bicycling.
As Don Walker would say:
support your local framebuilder

I recently picked up a Davidson bike and I'm thinking about repainting it. Can you give me a rough estimate of what they would charge for a single color repaint with decals? I'm new to this whole thing and have no idea what they might charge. I live north of Seattle so it would be great to have the work done by the original "creator" of the bike!
