The general trend that I've picked up is that the larger letters are later in the sequence, but that is not absolute. A Master X-Light is gonna be later 80's through the 90's. If you start with my crude premise, then the date would be 1985-86. That sounds too early for this model, but I dunno...Pictures would help, as some people here remember owning and working on 'em new.
