3-speed hub

I just got this wheel with a 3 speed hub off a bike i found in the garbage and i was wondering if I could remove the sprocket/freewheel on it. It seems to be like a BMX freewheel that I would be able to screw into my threaded hub. It has an 18t sprocket which I need for my singlespeed conversion.

Can't tell for sure from the pics, but it appears it may be a Sturmey-Archer. If so, the cog is not threaded on. And you can't remove the freewheel mechanism in any practical manner to use on another hub.

Edit: on second glance, I'm not sure it's a SA. Still, it doesn't look as if the cog is threaded on.

The sprocket is held on by a wire C clip like most newer coaster brakes and has three nubs to hold it in place. No threads.

Probably a Shimano 333.

Doesn't look like an S-A to me, either. The axles appear round (at least on the side profile you've shown) and all the S-A hubs I have dealth with have flat sided axles to allow them in English frames. Granted the S-As I know are the old style ones.

Unquestionably a Shimano 333, or a later Shimano 3C. That cog will only fit three-speed and coasterbrake hubs. There's a circlip holding it in place - remove that, and it slides out along with a spacer, in some cases.

The others are correct. It is definitely NOT a screw-on single-speed freewheel, but a single cog retained by a circlip. Single-speed spin-on freewheels are readily available on eBay and elsewhere.
