quick headset size question?!

how do i determine the headset size on my firenze gl500 frame? thanks.

If you are lucky, the headset has the threading listed on the locknut. But if not and you know the where and when of the frame construction, you can probably get a pretty good idea of the threading.

If it's the typical Firenze that I used to see a lot of, it's a cheepo Taiwanese bike and surely has JIS standard threading...the fork crown ID might be JIS, too (27.0mm) or maybe not (26.4mm).
