Just a hypothetical.
Just a hypothetical. On the other hand, I make $30/hour painting houses or mowing lawns.
But if you'd like one of my paint jobs on your bike, just send it to me with as many parts removed as you have tools for removing. Along with a Sikkens color number(s) and a sketch of what you want painted.
Then wait a while while I get meticulous with your frame. And VOILA! YOU have a "custom" painted bike!
But it will take some time. I am currently working on a detailed restoration (Corky) and then I have a mixte to do for East Hill, followed by a "Campus Green" Schwinn. So if you have an idea in mind, make your reservation now!
Send frame/fork, along with a sketch and a deposit check of $100 to;
Mark Bunten
324 Sirena del Mar
Marina, CA. 93933-4308
Then your bike will become as beautiful as SCoopers Paramount or Fender1's Trek!
Questions? (831) 521-3801 anytime!
Thanks,
Dr. Deltron

I sprayed enough clear, so that I could polish it out before SCooper could pick it up!

And you're right about the thick clear, lots of layers to polish out to a pretty shine.
And I'm glad to hear you're getting backed up with bikes to do. I'm kinda busy now, but boy the summer is dead. Everyone's out riding!

Finally, I quit traveling long enough to put the bike back together and take a few pictures.
I said it before, and I'll say it again; Dr. Deltron does superb work.

Nice, incidently I just finished putting mostly dura-ace and a little 600 and deore cranks on a late 80s red letour, doesn't look unlike your bike scooper, not quite as nice of course.

Stan, well done. You and Dr. D make a great team to produce one awesome ride! So, which one will you bring east next fall? Chrome, Red, or the new el-Natural? And, don't we all wish we could bring our rides by your place for some time in your photo studio. Another nice set of pictures.

I'll probably still be on a honeymoon with the el-Natural, so that'll be the one I take with me on the trip back east. I'm really looking forward to seeing the leaves turn back there in your neck of the woods.
