I just noticed this!

The photos aren't at all bad, tolfan. The Schwinn's looking good, too.

ok the schwinn is a 75 . My first real bike that I bought from a bike shop with my own money ,not a toy store bike from parents was a schwinn continental a 78. I saw this schwinn for 5$ and grabed it .I had an ebay junck box with the 7 speed freewheel in it(got a lot of value out of that 10$ box) so I put it on a pair of aluminum rims that I had from a 1$ aucton bike , forget the make. Then I was at the LBS and saw a triple chain wheel for a 1 piece crank and grabed it for 10$ new. Had to chainge the back derailer , used a suntour Vx(junk box) because of the cage size. front derailer is original and the set screws are all the way out. Sella prima seat(10$) in photo was sold with the peugeot now it has something italian leather with wofle top and looks more right. handle bar wraps are NOS slip ons from the 70's(5$) look and feel good.front tire nos 27x1 part of a deal left over and back tire is 27x1 1/8 from someplace. chain is a bell from wallmart and works nice for a cheapo.pump holders are the old bottle cap kind with the star cut out. pump is new and useless for the 90 and 100 psi tires I have on it.brakes are aluminum side pulls shimano back no name front 2$ each lbs. has a nos odometer(1$) on the front wheet that looks right for the year. shortie fender on back and brake lever grips came off a columbia parts bike that I got for 5$.schwinn wheel generator light set I traded for with a guy from the forum.
