French/Swiss thread 35 x 1.0 bottom bracket lockring

I'm deperately trying to find a bottom bracket lockring - with a French/Swiss thread 35 x 1.0

Sheldon Brown & Harris Cyclery are showing theirs as no longer available. Can't find one on eBay. The one off my 1966 Peugeot won't work on the '79 that I'm *this* close to finishing.

What's a guy to do?

I have one, but its part of a 1976 era Campy Record French thread BB cup set. I don't want to break up the set, but will sell the bb cups & lockring separate from the axle & bearings. If you're interested, please PM me.

Bikes: some but not enough

Have: Sturmey Archer 5 spd internal geared hub. This one takes an indicator (not included) on each side of the axal, if memory serves correctly, it was made in '61.

Want: will think of something eventually.

Trade a old Record Crankset

I'd like to trade a Campy Record crank set 170mm 9/16 x 26 threading date code 1973 (3 in a diamond) for the same cranks cranks date code 1978. They can be 170mm or 172.5mm. Mine is pretty nice, only a few small scratches / scuffs. We can each keep our own rings, dust caps and chainring bolts, unless you really want the old ones, then we can trade these as well

One 27" alloy rear wheel. To match a 5 speed freewheel...but if you've got a 6 or 7 on it already I'll take that too.

EDIT: got one

EDIT: Found one, thanks.

Fork mounted cantilever brake cable stop. I've found one website with this item, but it would be $22 with shipping! If I can find it for a little less, I'd be happy.

Do you mean the cable stop that goes with the headset. If you do, loosescrews.com has them for 6 bucks.

No, the type that mounts with a bolt to the fork crown, where a fender or caliper brake might be mounted. Harris Cyclery has them, and while I do like that shop, and have used them in the past, I just can't justify $22 for the part, and I really have nothing else to buy at this point (I've already put in 3 orders elsewhere on this build for small parts, and I ended up spending way too much to justify the shipping costs!)

Looking for some Shimano clamp on cable stops, like the ones in the picture. Logic would say they were fairly common in the eighties. Hopefully they're common enough to be in someone's parts bin, with no rust
or cracked chrome. They have the ribbed Shimano logo on both. Lemme know, thanks!,,,,,BD

I have a Specialized Hard Rock Cruz Hardtail? Canti brake goodness, and angled horizontal forged drops. Good condition overall, could be polished up and pass for decent. One of their Direct Drive CrMo frames.
21 inches Center of cranks, to the top of the top tube. I'm 6'1", and it fits me pretty well. It was going to be a flipper, but what the heck.,,,,BD

Yum! Pearl white, just like a Peugeot, hehe.....

WTB: Profile Century Aero Bars (or similar)

WTB: Profile Century (or similar) aero bars.

These are 1 piece shorty clip-on aero bars. The newer ones fit either 26 or 31 mm handlebars. I'd prefer one of those.

This is for my wife's old Peugeot. She's going to use it in a short Triathlon.

Thanks !
