WTB:
1985-ish Raleigh Kodiak or Portage. "Quickstand" flip-out wire holder for front wheel & cable stop for my 1985 Raleigh Wyoming. |
Wanted.
An 80's Trek frameset, a 400,410, 420,500 or 520 in 22" or 22.5, (55-56cm.) The 21" frame I'm riding fits me in standover, but the short TT is killing me. EDIT: Might be interested in any decent (can't afford anything good) frame in 22", any Euro made steel is extra interesting. |
kjmillig, I have a 60cm, 1984 Raleigh Alyeska if you are interested. I think I have an intact flick-stand from a '84 Super Course as well - not 100% sure though.
-------------- WANT: Any decent aluminum, hooked-bead clincher, vintage 700C rims; Araya, Ambrosio, Rigida, Mavic, etc... -Kurt |
Anybody have a spare Helicomatic lock ring tool? (I can't believe I bought a French bike)

Closest tire I have is a Specialized Mondo, but I have a pair of the tires, and would rather keep them for a special project. Take care, -Kurt |

I'm in the market for some TA cranks, preferably 175 and preferably triple but I'll consider just about anything. Also early steel Ritchey Bullmoose bars. A stumpjumper branded Avocet touring seat. 26.4 laprade that is not completely crusty. I got stuff to trade...lotsa stuff. |
ISO/WTB:
Suntour Superbe Crank Dust Caps |
I am looking for old style cycling shoes, for clips and straps. size 45. any brand. ASAP.
|
float adjustment parts for Record Ti Pro-fit plus pedals. I know it's a stretch, but I've got to try.
|
Need a set of North Road type aluminum bars for my wife's Paramount project.
|
See this Campagnolo Victory brake lever?
http://www.jaysmarine.com/84_raleigh_sc_june07_3.jpg I need another. As minty as possible. Repop or Dia-Compe Gran Compe gum hoods would be nice too. -Kurt |
I am in search of a touring bike/frame. Preferably lugged chromoly (of course ;)) Something at least a little better than entry level, but it doesn't have to be high end by any means. I would also prefer cantilever brakes, but that won't make or break a deal for me. I'm not interested in any particular brand or even country of origin, as long as I can mount good quality parts on it. Major brands I've seen here but can never find locally: Miyata, Trek, Nishiki, Raleigh, Peugeot...well...basically every brand there is. Of course it doesn't have to be a major brand either, I just figure something like that would be easier to find.

It would help if people didn't have to guess at the size. :)

Oops, I meant to post the size but forgot, sorry. If it's anywhere from 54 to 58 cm I could make it work. 56 cm would be ideal of course. Thanks.
|
Looking for the following (frame or complete bike) in sizes 54cm - 56cm: Gloria, Galmozzi, Picchio, Grandis. If you have one of these bikes for sale please drop me a note with condition details and price. Photos appreciated as well.
Thanks, Mike. |

PS Forgot to mention the frame is triple butted "tri-caliber" cromoly, and has dual dropout eyelets front and rear, but no fork braze-ons. No biggie though as you can see... http://buggytexas.com/highsierra.html |
