Yikes, that's some stout gearing on that old thing: 60t crank and 10t cog (a skip tooth, which comes out to a 20t standard?). I suppose riders were stronger in 1910.

Not being up on the real old bikes, what gives with the springs hanging off the front of the saddle?

From: Southampton, UK

Bikes: Gazelle Trim Trophy, EG Bates Track Bike, HR Bates Cantiflex bike, Nigel Dean fixed gear conversion, Raleigh Royal, Falcon Westminster.

It's 81 gear inches - that's nothing unusual on the track.

From: Take a deep breath, and ask--What would Sheldon do?

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Looks pretty good, ilikebikes. I'm guessing that the paint isn't original, though?

you would also be correct if you guessed that the bars, stem, rims/wheels and tires are not orig either! LOL!

Well, even the one in the auction isn't 100% original... .

Yeah, I looked it over and sent the guy an email, the wheels and tires are not orig, the frames got a nice dent in it, and the chains gone, I could really use it for parts though, but not at that price, if it were all orig I would have bought it right off! but no, it wasnt meant to be....today anyways!
