old post? the original bike in question is still up for auction, the last post before mine was 4 days ago hardly an old post.

If it was my size, and I was looking for one of that vintage, then I'd probably expect to pay at least $300 for it. Casati doesn't have quite the name of some other Italian brands, but those I have/had were all nicely made.

The first bike in this threads high bid was $255 + $50 shipping = $305. My guess was $300, so I win!

Didn't meet reserve, however. I do think that with a more informative description and pics the bike could have been bid higher.
