What kind of tubing did they use on the early ones? My '59 feels light, sounds butted and takes a 27mm seatpost, but the decals are long gone. It has the same Cyclo dropouts as yours, but the lugs are chrome Capella.

You can see the double-butted tubes, forks and stays 531 decal on the seat tube. Yes, the one I had before was the lightest bike I've ever owned. My seat tube was 26.8, don't know what this one is.
