if adjusted properly I think it should still work. I like the fenders.

Bikes: 2018 Ghost Square Trekking B2.8 e-bike; 2015 MEC Cote gravel/touring bike; 1985 Boyes-Rosser tourer, now outfitted as Winter Trundle-bike

Only one way to find out - lube everything up and give it a try! (Um, in a parking lot. Not a gigantic hill full of traffic).

What is it? Looks like a bike with a story!

It's an early 70's raleigh grand prix. I found it at good will for $20

I haven't measured it but it's a pretty big frame.

From: boogled up in...Idaho!

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...

Hi-Ten 1020 tubing. the dealer would have sold the fenders and the kickstand as an option when the bike was new. I owned a red '72. This is about the same vintage. I don't remember exactly, but the seatpost was very small, as the tubing is pretty thick. Probably a 25.4 would be a good place to start fitting.

It was a great rider, far beyond its materials. I rode it for ten years...
