Anything Special?

Not as special as that twin-fork bike!
But honestly: that's the first franco italia bar I've seen, so I'd say it's pretty rare.Just looked again and I think I see that it's a model of Phillipe (sp?) handlebar...not so rare to the French fans, but still that's (Franco Italia) a model I'm not familiar with...might be a 25mm diameter bar, but worth keeping whatever the size.

indeed it was just a quick photoshop stitch, had to get nice and close so that the detail came in. They came off a Peugeot E09 that i've recently found. Nice and light, but i'm thinking bout flipping and chopping them, but didnt want to if they were special. So keep or chop?

They are cool looking but not particularly sought after or "high end", in the world of bars.

yesterday I had never seen one and today I own one! Mine came on an '80s Gitane I just picked up...seem like a decent alloy bar, but nothing special...unless you are restoring a French bike and have to have the 'correct' handlebars.

The "French" Phillippe handlebars I had weren't really French at all - at least my set was 25.4mm - and I scratched them all up trying to put them in a 25.0 handlebar. The name fooled me
