Bikes: March '71 Schwinn Sports Tourer

'92 Waterford Paramount OS w/ full Dura Ace in the original "Blue Velvet Gas" which literally changes color between the indoor/artificial lighting and becomes brilliant semi-transparent/blue gaseous in natural sunlight (Hey Dr D, is that a candy-coat thing?) I discussed this bike w/ Scooper before purchasing and am so happy that I listened to him and purchased it. It's the most refined cycle I've ever owned, period. I did however change out the high-tech pedals for my trusty Campy w/ clips because I can't stand newer pedal technology

I hear what you're saying, I'm not a Deda fan myself because of the asthetic of it and am contemplating going w/ a much more vintage looking stem, but I think that Waterford had/has some sort of connection w/ Deda, so I have left it on so far out of loyalty to Waterford, as I was thinking they may have made it in America (I could be dead wrong about that )

It's in pieces right now, but it'll be back together tomorrow or Monday. I'm going to leave it at my parent's house in Cincinnati for me to ride when I come home from Chicago.

It's stock for the most part, except it's on Open Pro/Ultegra wheels and I'm running an 8-speed STI rear shifter so that I can use it as a spare bike for racing. I've put tons of miles on it and it's been a solid ride – just as great for a long day of riding or trying (and failing) to put in a breakaway in a Cat. 3 race.

Bikes: Lots

This was an accidental "find" when I went to look at an early '80s full Record Masi Gran Crit. The gentleman had quite a collection a "classics" and was liquidating a few he no longer wanted. Long story short, I loaded the car up with both the Masi, this beautiful Paramount frame and 3 other complete Record bikes. This Paramount however, will probably always be my best Craigslist deal ever...$300. It's one of four Paramounts I currently own including 2 I've found in the last three weeks and the only one I currently have pics of:

Uh, er, I wish my chrome Paramount frame was back from the shop so I could get it put together and share a picture.

My '66 P-13 modified into a 18 speed. I know, I know, I should sell it to Barn Door and buy a smaller one.
