Yeah, I got the last of the stock from the original supplier so they matched. That was mid-summer. If you look closely you'll notice that there is a double-ended ferrel on the rear brake housing because I cut it too short the first time. Only other option would have been to have it mis-matched.

However, if you are going to run downtube shifters and the only derailleur housing you'll be using is on the rear derailleur loop I don't think it'll be too noticeable unlike with STI/Ergo setups.

[QUOTE=cuda2k;5843746]Another option that goes in the direction of the clear / gray options but with a little more bling:

Braided SILVER:

Oh yeah, the braided housing would look killer on a pearlescent orange frame.

SHUCKS....I may even get some of that stuff for my bike.

Cuda now that you mention that I am running downtube shifters and I have a springy housing on the RD so I'm just going to need the brake cable. Problem is solved (DUH) I knew after sounding you all out the lights would go on

Just your presence is inspiration, a dash of grace, and good cheer all around. Now that's contributing!

I've been working on the good cheer part, and I think I'm good on the inspiration (at least when it comes to encouraging photos ), so I just need to get down the grace part.

Dang wouldn't you know it. I was ordering the brake cable housing from Velo Orange and they are out of stock right now so I'm going to contact them and see when they will be getting them back in stock. Crud, I guess I'll run the grey Schwinn cables/housing and then after I get this bike powdercoated hopefully they will be in stock by that time
