The folks are going to be in town in a week so my wife and I’ve been cleaning the house including the bike cave. As a result I ended up with a bunch of items I am never going to use that hopefully can be used by one of you.

If you want you can have any or all of it for the price of shipping.

- Cat Eye Velo Cyclo Computer CC-1000 – I popped in two AA batteries and the display is working. Unfortunately I no longer have the handlebar attachment (these have been claimed)
- Two smaller reflectors, as well as wheel reflectors, large metal dork disc, Custom stem (claimed) and front wheel brackets (whatever you call those things) came off my Schwinn Traveler.
- Top center is a never used bracket for a Kryptonite U-lock
- Pedals are English thread. I don’t know the make but they are stamped ‘Made in England’. Spin pretty smooth, cannot tell you if they can be overhauled (these have been claimed)
- Smaller plastic dork disc came off Trek 1500
- Single darker blue bottle cage is a Blackburn - some paint has chipped off (these have been claimed)
- Pair of lighter blue bottle cages came of my Giant MTB I only had for 6 days before it was stolen at the train station (very good condition) - I hope it's not passing on the bad karma (these have been claimed)

- Vetta Gel Saddle – came off Trek 1500 – fabric is a little loose on top
- Shimano PD-525 SPD pedals – no clue if they work (these have been claimed)

Hmmm, maybe. ;) As it turns out, I got these yesterday. I think they are Chater-Lea cranks, but they are unmarked. I think in some cases Chater-Lea made parts for various bike companies which would explain why they don't have the CL or the Chater-Lea stamping on the cranks. Because I wanted to get an informed opinion, I started a thread but nobody's responded yet. :(

Pair of Maillard hubs with matching skewers. They're dirty and the nuts have a little surface rust, but they spin nicely and with a little elbow grease and bearing service they should be good for, oh, another 25 years or so.

The Puny Fart-Thing (small penny farthing).
Made from a genuine Radio Flyer trike that got crashed. Not really rideable for various geometry reasons. All the neighborhood kids have given it their best and the closest they've come is pushing off from the top of the hill in the yard and coasting spread eagle style till they hit the fence at the bottom. Good for decor. I'd kinda like to get it out of the basement before they remember it in the spring. You pay shipping.

Vintage teardrop headlight with battery LED retrofit!
 

Offered for the cost of shipping is a battery LED-retrofitted vintage Cibie headlight. I bought this as a dynamo headlight off of eBay.fr a couple of years ago for my Jeunet porteur project. I retrofitted the internals of a small Planet Bike single LED headlight and installed a push on/off switch on the side. It works quite well. Takes one AA battery. In a year and a half of use including in heavy rain, not a single flicker. Works solid. When I decided I would commute year-round on this bike and needed something brighter, I splurged on dynamo lighting and expensive German lights.

If you made a front and matching rear I'd totally hit you up for a build I'm doing right now. That is a great idea. I wonder if I could find one of those bodies and just somehow put one of those magicshine knockoffs in to get some good power.

Lemme look and see if I have a spare. I bought a lot of three, gave this one away, sold the other NOS shell, so that leaves the third one mysteriously unaccounted for...

+2 I live the style of that light, upgrades to LED look great in that, at least from the side.

I'm moving from Minnesota to Indiana at the beginning of April, and I have a couple frames to give away for the price of shipping.

First up is an early 80's Fuji Gran Tourer SE (complete with a totally bent fork). I grabbed this out of a dumpster many years ago and it's been sitting since. It measures 62.5 cm from center to top of the seat tube and 59.5 cm from center to center of the top tube. Serial number is FJ009205. It's a Cro-Moly 441 frame.
