WOW! What a beauty of a bike! There was just a "What's Your Grail" thread....and I said I really didn't have one....but this one sure would fit the bill. Back into cycling for only three years, on a rather limited budget, and I've been pushing myself and my latest favorite ride, an 87 Bridgestone 550, rebuilding my engine on the rebuilt classic...but ...WOW....a Masi Criterium would be a ride I would really have to push to find it's limits! What a beauty, and in my size too!!!

My size too! I've always lusted after an Italian bike but alas they are just too much for me.

I had to do a double take and check my calender to make sure it wasn't April 1st. Too good to be true.

I wanted to thank everyone who put their name in for theMasi. The shop still has the bike getting the seat post unstuck.
I put everyone’s name in a hat and pulled Veloh.

OK - next up...a 58cm Miyata bike-in-a-box, pics forthcoming, has about everything but wheels, chain, seatpost and seat. Shimano Exage brakes and derailleurs, so figure mid-range bike. Biopace chainrings. Fully disassembled and most parts seem to be labeled in bags - no guarantees though! Unbent, looks like someone started a refinish project. Braze on downtube shifters and TT cable guides. Steel dropouts (unmarked), fully lugged/brazed steel bike. Mid '80's? Yours for shipping from 45011.

GONE to rjhammett...enjoy!

Viscount Frame, Handcrafted By Trusty of England! YAY! 62CM seat tube CTC, 56 top tube CTC. Paint is rough or "nicely patinaed," depending on your point of view. It looks like this bike may have been crashed at some point, as the paint on the top of the top and down tubes in front of the lugs is cracked, but I can not feel and bulges in the tubes, so I do not think there was any frame damage, more likely just brittle paint?

you pay packing/shipping, located in Appleton, WI 54914

I have a box of stuff that needs a home. Some items are a bit weirder than others but all is usable stuff and not really crap, so I won't call it a BOC. But that's the idea. Just pay for a large flat rate box for shipping from 11222.

First to PM gets the box.

Thanks again to 16Victor. Here is the bike-in-a-box assembled with a new $5 paint job. I was looking for a bike for my winter trainer and this fit the bill. It gets ridden just about every day.

These 36h usable tubular rims are yours for shipping. They are from the early 70s and were originally laced to a very French set of spokes and hubs. I have not bothered to figure out what they are exactly as they came to me missing their stickers.

They are not in perfect condition, but for riders, they'll be just fine. See the photos for the blemishes: a nick on the rim. Pick up in Manhattan is free.

Don't need the rims, but what a great (and generous) way to celebrate your 1000th post.

Hey thanks. I've got more to purge that will wind up in this thread. Manhattan apartments are small.
