That Motiv Triad looks and sounds really nice. It's kinda damned by the dumb paint job so whoever can see through it gets a really nice frame.

This one was not supposed to end up here, but is has, with a caveat
Shogun Prairiebreaker Pro - with a very stuck seatpost I should have left well enough alone! Seatpost was stuck, but in a position that worked for me, decided it needed to get unstuck (I have succeeded quite a few times) after soaking in penetrant and multiple attempts at mechanical removal (including slicing the seattube into 4 with a wood sawsall blade) I went out and bought the Lye to melt out the post. On re-reading all the threads and the likely need for multiple applications I paused and decided the chances of me wrecking the paint, were more likely than not. The hilarious 80's paint job is half of the appeal of this frame, so I decided I would give someone else a chance If they wanted to continue the attempt at removing the post without destroying the paint? That may not be an option? At this point my failed attempts and prep to melt the post, have left the frame with none of the remaining post sticking out of the frame! So I am not sure of mechanical methods that would now work? On the longshot that someone both fits & wants this frame and is willing to tackle the challenge? It is available for local pick-up in South Los Angeles (San Pedro) or pack and ship by my local shop. Pics to come soon, need to go snap them |

I didn't see this question until I posted the previous note.
My Grandis is 56cm Center-to-Top, with 55cm C-C top tube. it is best described as a F1 car with only 2 wheels, hard riding, demanding that I ride faster, with lightning quick response. A criterium bike not for the faint of heart! But great fun otherwise. My Masi is similarly small but always does what I am thinking without me having to tell it what to do. |
Black Friday bump for the freebies posted above, both still available

I bought this Lepper Voyager titanium saddle on the auction site years ago not knowing its terrible reputation, and of course it broke after riding it just a few miles. I weigh 160 lbs., so I think I can say the fault lies with the design of the saddle and not me. Anyway, I am offering it for the price of its shipping to anyone who can either weld titanium to repair and reinforce it or to mount to their vintage Dutch masterpiece and hang it on the wall.

I'm not in line for this very generous freebie, but I can't see the break in the picture -- did a rail come loose from the frame at one end or something?

Wire rack mount for older Cannondale handlebar bags that use a cord to stabilize the bag. Kind of U shaped, goes under the stem and the bag is inserted into the projected arms. Seems to me these are hard to find these days. Free for the cost of postage.
I’d take and post a picture but if you have one of these bags…you know what I’m talking about. |
CLAIMED. Single Speed Freewheels bundle (all go to one lucky person). Will ship as cheap as possible with Pirateship.

Today's offering: A pair of Burley foot protectors for rain and snow riding. Never used because they came with a rain suit and I didn't need them. Cost of postage Smiles, MH
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...51f271fab5.jpg two foot protectors, vinyl type of lower cover and rain resistant fabric uppers. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...aa54f75657.jpg Generous size will accommodate extra layers inside over shoes. |
Another item that is on the workbench and should be in someone's hands. I think this one came off of a new wheel that had been crashed, so pretty much no miles on it. As always cost of postage. Smiles, MH

Brake calipers, shifter
Claimed.
- The G-Star nutted caliper is missing the barrel adjuster and the nut. - The Campagnolo clamp-on shifters are complete and move smoothly. - The Shimano Ultegra and 105 calipers only sorta work and might be better for parts. If you look carefully at the 105, the pivot bolt isn't the original. They both had damaged bolts so I tried to use a generic flathead bolt to get them working, and they do pivot, but feel a little loose in their movement. |
