Alloy Drop Bars

I don't know if these are worth shipping or not.

Win Kusuki alloy bars. 40 cm +/-, 25.4 clamp dia, 23.8 grip dia. They have a few scrapes and scratches. The clamp area is a little chewed up as well. I can't get a good pic of the logos. I don't think they're anything special. Unless someone wants them, they're going to recycling.

They can be yours for the price of shipping.

Handlebars are claimed pending payment of shipping with 2 others waiting

Yes, someone did. I have no idea who would be stupid enough to do such a thing, but it can be fixed I'm sure.

Oh yeah, great fixed gear material. Only braze-ons are fender eyelets.

Pick up in Northern NJ only!

Sorry, the Superbe components aren't included!
PM sent for the headset from the frame, if available.

Appears the message system isn't working. I also regret to say the headset is not available. Sorry!

Schwinn LeTour mixte. I bought it for the mint Specialized Tri Sport tires and have no use for the rest of it. Seat tube measures 49cm. You may have all or parts for shipping.

27 steel rimmed wheels. I prefer to do somethiing local to Boston. Need to get some space in my basement. 2 fronts, to rears. Little to no rust.
Shipping them may take some time. And I will only be in the Boston Area thru tomorrow night. Near Woodstock NY Friday after Thanksgiving if that floats your boat.

Suntour Thanksgiving Pay It Forward

Happy Thanksgiving! Here are a couple items from my modest parts pile:

1. Suntour ratcheting shifters for parts - near complete set apparently missing a part (round part inside shifting mechanism). SPOKEN FOR

2. Suntour Compe V FD - you know the one SPOKEN FOR

3. Mystery Suntour RD - what derailleur will Primitive Don pull out of the pile for you this holiday? I doubt it'll be a Cyclone GT, but a Suntour RD nonetheless!
SPOKEN FOR

These can go the same C&V member. I'll pay shipping, but it'd be nice if you offered up something on Pay It Forward, and nicer if you posted pics of the result.

Don I'll take the Compe V FD if it's unspoken for...and I'll be happy to pay shipping too!

CLAIMED!!

Not sure if this is C&V or not, but I'm putting it here.

Cannondale road bike - not sure of vintage. Mavic group (crank, wheels, hubs, shifters, brakes, front derailer). Very light, but stiff ride. Was given to me by a friend but it just doesn't fit me or my wife.

Caveats: the rear derailer is a pretty crappy one from an old peugeot that I had. I got the bike with a broke RD so put this on just to try it. I'll leave it on, but it doesn't work great and the bike will ride best with a better/appropriate derailer. No pedals.

Also - I put a very large cog on the freewheel as I live up a long steep hill. I will include a variety of others in with this as I have no use for them, so you can replace as you need to.

I hope someone can ride this. I will ship however you want, and trust you to send me the shipping $ when you get the bike. I have a bike box from a recent purchase, so will use that for shipping.

I'm in upstate NY, and can drive a little to meet you with the bike. May be able to deliver to NYC / Long Island area sometime within the next few weeks too - but can't promise that for sure.

Jeez..forgot to put sizing in: Seattube: 57cm from top to center of BB, Top Tube: 55 1/2, Down tube 61. I am 5'10" and this bike felt cramped to me. My buddy who I got it from is about 5'8" with short legs. My wife is 5'8" with long legs and it didn't fit her well.

I've tried PMing you a few times about this but I've had a few problems with the site or my connection. The last time was just a few minutes ago. If you still need a Compe V, let me know. I still have that one that you gave me.

Might want to offer up the frame alone. That Mavic stuff can probably get you some coin, and I know no honorable C&V'er would take this simply to flip for a quick profit!

Cannondale is taken.

JYB - I appreciate that the Mavic group could be sold for some coin, but this bike was given to me to try. It didn't work, and my buddy just asked that I pass it on to someone who will hopefully use it. It wouldn't have felt right to not honor his request by selling/parting the bike.

I hope the new owner will ride it, rather than flip it or part it out.

You have my word, that it will be ridden and enjoyed. I will even try to restore the complete Mavic group to the bike. And the front fork looks like aluminum. It should polish up nicely.

I'm looking forward to restoring and riding it at our next C&V event.

That's awesome! Although you're certainly free to do whatever you want with it, no worries.

As for the fork - it's a matte finish on it - no shining up. I'm not sure what material it is honestly, but I assume it's aluminum. I'll have to look more closely. I wish I'd kept the old RD, but I don't think I did...will have to scour the garage shelves to be certain.

My buddy will be happy to know it's going to someone who appreciates it!

Thank you again. And as for the fork, if it's aluminum (will a magnet stick to it?), I can polish it, matte finish or not. I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done.

I'm a bit too far from Tehachapi to come get it, but if you're willing to ship the world sport about 200 or so miles north, I'll pay shipping!
