I take it these were found during clean up for renovations? We would love to see photos of the fresh shop and floor as things come along, if you have time of course.
I'll see if i can find some as we go.. -If anyone wrote any letters to place an order in 1964, i'm very sorry we just found them and opened them! -no more film footage but 100s more photos found today... We're preserving everything to go into the new museum above the shop. But i'll post some on here when i get a chance. tony.

Thanks for the video, for some reason no sound when I screened it, but great nonetheless.

If I remember correctly there were some Americans, (some still in the biz, wink wink, nudge nudge) who learned a wee bit while there, probably a different time. I would have taken the grad. exit exam to go apprentice there way back, oh well.

Also, I never thought to take a woman's bust measurement for bike fitting, now I am too old to get away with that.

This is one of the most beautiful bikes I've seen on BF. And that's saying something.

Are you going to answer them?

I know I will get berated for this, but I'm looking forward to seeing the photos . Did you say 'museum'? This is giving me an excellent excuse to return to London .

I recognize that one, it was hanging on the wall when I was there in October...

Did you say 'museum'?
Yes we're putting in a museum of Bicycle Craft and Cycling in London, we have 2 unused floors so we're opening them up. Along with our EXTENSIVE archives going back to the 1930s -bicycles - parts - photos - magazines - oddities...

There is some of it on our website, but it is all at the proposal stage.: www.witcombcycles.co.uk/heritage
