Double post? Mid-80's Raleigh

Hi all, I had originally posted in the commuter section, but that was before I knew there was a vintage one..lol. Anyhow, I have an old TI Raleigh (nothing special as far as I know) that I found in my garage. I'm thinking of stripping it down and repainting it and putting everything back on...some original some new parts.

What are your suggestions as vintage enthusiasts? Is it worth it ...time and money?

Where do I get new decals?

What are your thoughts on this bike..

It's worth time, but not money, in my opinion.

I don't know whether exact replacements would be available -- can't see enough detail in your photos. There's an eBay seller named Cyclomondo (Greg Softley in Oz)

who offers a lot of Raleigh decals. My favorite is the script logotype from MnHPVA Guy's (1957?) RRA. Greg has made it in the original white/Silver, and at my suggestion, black/silver.

My decals are very similar. The main decal reads "THE RALEIGH" while the decals cyclomondo has read RALEIGH. I think his are a little wider as well, but dunno for sure. As it stands though his are the best bet. I think tomorrow i'll take exact pics of the bike and every part, and then start to take it apart.

Also going to get some advice from the local bike shop to see if they can get parts for me. when needed
