Great photos and beautiful bike. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of this bike locked up with a u lock somewhere in San Francisco. That would add some class to the Vintage Commuter thread for sure, ;)

@bikemig LOL. Not going to happen! Even at my relatively privileged elementary school in Kensington where I teach, I keep my commuter inside by my desk. This LOOK is my most prized earthly possession. No exaggeration. I would NEVER leave it unattended in SF for a split second.

Well this is the bike I built up to be commuter, but in reality it is my, "throw a leg over, run a quick errand, go to brewpub, instead of a car bike
SR Semi-pro (tange No 2, arabesque) with velo orange left bank bars and tektro city levers. I had some dual pivots in the stash and threw those on

When I was commuting (got retired Nov 23) i ended up riding my nice bikes the kirk was set up with rack for that purpose, so my last commuter bike was
