I did a nice 50ish mile ride from Berkeley, across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge toward Larkspur, and then a loop around the Tiburon peninsula (north of San Francisco & GG Bridge) before heading back the way I came. It was a pretty windy day, making for a tiresome solo ride. I’m not sure of the exact mileage bc my MapMyRide app stalled out for part of the ride (ignore the straight line across the water). The route looked something like this:

@bikemig LOL. Not going to happen! Even at my relatively privileged elementary school in Kensington where I teach, I keep my commuter inside by my desk. This LOOK is my most prized earthly possession. No exaggeration. I would NEVER leave it unattended in SF for a split second.

Well this is the bike I built up to be commuter, but in reality it is my, "throw a leg over, run a quick errand, go to brewpub, instead of a car bike
SR Semi-pro (tange No 2, arabesque) with velo orange left bank bars and tektro city levers.
