Bikes: 3 Rollfasts, 3 Schwinns, a Shelby and a Higgins Flightliner in a pear tree!

Need a FLAT version of the postwar Rollfast badge copy...

of the round headbadge used as far back as at least the Hoppy models, c.1947.

The graphic will go on the tank sides and the front of the fairing when it's done.

This is a picture of that headbadge and I need a clean, scalable picture or drawing with as decent a resolution for Adobe Photoshop as possible, and thank you for your interest/help, Steven

From: Take a deep breath, and ask--What would Sheldon do?

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Anyone up to helping Rollfast get his bike back up and running?

Bikes: Kirk Frameworks JKS-C, Serotta Nova, Gazelle AB-Frame, Fuji Team Issue, Surly Straggler

JRrestore may be able to produce a flat version in a graphics program from that image for you.

{also fixed the typo in the thread title}

Thanks. I think Rollfast needs as cheap a process as possible (his funds are limited at the moment... ).

Go ahead, shoot...but I still hope to find an ad or flyer that features such and Google bites.

I found a somewhat larger image of the logotype here, but it's slightly different... How precisely matched does it need to be? I can freehand it, but that will take longer.

The proportions aren't exactly correct, but how does this look?

Oh! That's the chain guard logo I'm using : )

Pretty good, although it has a slight moire to it...very nice. Photoshop can transform it into a more circular form. I will have to find the best match to the informal serifed font(s) I could find in an advertisment or find what the chain guard graphics looked like for a guide. No, the guard is getting the script with gold boxes below it logo but the fairing front gets the badge big and bold.

Thanks! What did you need for all this? I could get the original Hunt Wilde grips from my Western Flyer's original handlebar or something or maybe the entire bar...I'll at least credit you on my bike page in my Windows Live Spaces slideshow if you wish.

Looks as if the project is again in a forward motion!

Hurrah, and thanks AHemp !

Alright! The pattern goes away when magnified! Well, mostly, but that's good enough to work with.

Yeah, thank you so much! East Hill, you'll be on that list too, as "co-ordinator emeritus". Hope I got my Latin right-side up?

Yes, 'emeritus' would be correct . You know I enjoy seeing these bikes come alive again...

I have the Illustrator file(s), so it's infinitely scalable in any direction. Shoot me a PM and I'll send 'em over.
