Might ditch the 9-speed Dura Ace for a 9-speed Record group that I have, I just prefer the cleaner cockpit

Got this from CList a couple months back and it was pretty much ready to go. Had a Brooks B-17 narrow on it that was probably the most uncomfortable saddle I have tried in my recent foray into vintage bike hobbysim. Did a full tear down and maintenance check and rebuild with all original parts. New Cinelli white bar tape and generic hoods. The fit could be better on the hoods, a little loose. New Soma Supple Vitesse 28's and some cheapo SPD's from the co-op.
It's a sweet ride! Gonna use it on my commute this week and get a feel for it.
stunning bike and nice colors

The frame that Takao Ono built for me is on the Yellow Jersey Panasonic page. Photo is from the late 80’s.
Mistakenly stated 1972 instead of actual build date of 1973.
Will be be refreshing it later this year. Hope to find era appropriate decals for the Panasonic Custom Shop.

Edit: Add

Original paint was paler orange and came with Sport Deluxe decals on DT as Takao Ono did not have decals for the custom shop yet. First “Handbuilt by T. Ono” decal on ST. Tange tubes. Original components were Crane and Dura Ace prototypes gifted from racers that were Shimano employees. Raced and trained on for many years.
After severe crash injury (saved the bike, destroyed left shoulder) in ‘83 had it repainted, chrome ends and braze-ons by CyclArt. Faded yellow calligraphy is my name in Japanese, written by my father, decals by Jim Cunningham.
After repaint, full Super Record with Campy Record Strada rims. Tires were Clement Criterium Seta or Seta Extra for races and cottons for rain and training.

Edit 2:
The spare bag holds two used Criterium spares and CO2 cartridges. Bare race weight was ~19.5 lbs depending on wheel/tire combo.

It's time to let my Unicorn bike go, here is my Panasonic Team America Custom. I will be listing it for sale on Ebay, but thought members of the Panasonic forum should have a first shot. If interested let me know, many posts about this bike in Classic & Vintage forum.
Take Care.

Listed with details and photos in Forum "For Sale".

I ended up putting the Record group on something else but I did update the Dura Ace to down tube shifters because I really do prefer the tidier cockpit

Here she is in commuter mode

Love this bike
