dont really have much info on this frame, just wondering what it is and if its worth repairing. Just took some pics of the interesting bits, stupidly not of the whole frame.

Nervex lugs

wrap around seat stays (not caps or plug-ins, the top of the seat stay is squishes and then bent around the seat lug)

unidentified but cool drop outs (one is broken and someone MIG'd it back together)

The head tube has three(I think unthreaded) holes presumably for attaching a headbadge, which is of course missing.

Also, just the rear triangle is chromed. The last clue: fixed cup is a right hand thread. (Italian?)

RH threaded fixed cup could also be French, and this has more of a French feel to it...but can't tell you what based on the strange DOs and headtube badge holes, nor the serial number (who stamps them there?). I'd be sniffing around a St. Ettienne maker but that's just a hunch. Can you measure the OD of the tubes with a digital caliper (I'm guessing metric tubing)?
Edit: I just looked a pics of Charles Wahl's Jeunet Franche-Compte and tho the details are all different, his Jeunet does have the serial no. stamped on the left rear DO...I'm thinking "French" even more now.(still speaking English) One make that has 3 holes in that pattern is Follis...made in Lyon...

Unworthy1's hunch sounds like a great starting point - a French frame with Nervex lugs would be worth restoring.

AH, yes, could be French. I should measure the thread pitch and BB width to be sure. Also, perhaps a clue to its age is that it has no braze-ons at all, no cable guides of any sort. What decade does that put us in? 70's? Wasnt there a window of time after they started making frames with built in der. hangers and before things like over the BB braze on cable guides were the norm?

Just looked up Follis, and it looks like that could be it! looking at these pictures, it looks like the dropouts could be the same. (I am looking for that weird shaped cut-out caused by the extra material around that small hole in the dropout)

Yes, good detective work, I'll start putting money on it being a Follis, and since it has a DO hanger for a Campy rear derailleur (rather than a Simplex or Huret) something like that model 472 is very likely, too. I had an older Follis years back that had great pierced head lugs similar to this one, below. This model/year may be a bit newer/higher than yours (assuming yours is an early '70s 472) but shows what the top-end Follis from '73 looked like and how it was outfitted..check out the "drillium" rear dropouts, looks sort of like the Italvega/Torpedo treatment.
