92 Schwinn Series 5 PDG
I recently sold mine in So. CA for $380. The bike was probably 8 out of 10 on condition, paint and components. It was on the market a few months.

Hmm, exhuming a 12-year-old thread must've inspired this guy to sell his bike today:

First one I ever recall seeing sold here. No country of origin indicated at the bottom of the head tube. And at the risk of falling off a high horse (or more likely a high bar stool), five Franklins is steep for a 105-equipped bike.
(Dunno if he's selling the driveway and garage door too, since they take up more of the frame than the bike )

The Paramount history section of the Waterford website says the Series Paramounts were built "in Asian factories" rather than just Japanese factories, so it looks like the higher end Series road bikes (Series 7 and Series 5) were built by Panasonic, and the lower end (Series 2 and Series 3) were built in Taiwan and China.
rhenning, Could you kindly tell us your Chinese made Schwinn Paramount PDG Series 2 serial number? Thanks.
