What about a Suntour NSL, which had an aluminum cage and all? I have one in a box in the basement, I'll try to weigh it tonight if I remember....

I wondered about that. I've heard a lot about Superbe Pro stuff.

There's one out there.

Good luck.

Go super weight weenie and just convert the bike to singlespeed. Don't forget to order the Supersize Diet Coke.
It is just a challenge really.......However I will not go as far as you suggest with the no clothes, single speed (that base is covered), spares and what not. And I certainly won't be drinking or eatin' any "diet" anything! I work and play hard with a fast metabolism so I'll eat what I please!I only weigh a buck 45 soaking wet.....
I don't have a sub 20 pound geared road bike and I don't like new stuff so........C&V it is! Kinda. My cranks are Toplines (probably early 90's).

OK.......So far the concensus is that the Jubilee is the lightest although flimsy and poorly performing. The Superbe Pro while close in weight is much better performing. I don't have either so it seems the best course of action is to get both! The Jubilee to match my RD and the Superbe Pro to give me yet another excuse to get another RD for my RD collection (just got myself a display case to fix up)......
Sounds like a plan. Come on pay day!

I really want to see this bike, I've always thought it'd be fun to do a vintage drilled & milled weight weenie build. How much do you have done? Whats the frame? Less than twenty pounds isn't hard, my Super Record equipped Cinelli weighs about 19.2 with the tubulars.

I did remember, and I put it on my kitchen scale. It's around 100g, on a cheap Ikea kitchen scale; so it would appear to be a contender but not necessarily a winner. Unfortunately I did not photo it.

I've had this one for years, hasn't been mounted on a bike since 1982 or 3, don't remember where I got it. I'm pretty sure it was mounted on my Raleigh Pro until I found a Campy. At any rate, I don't need it. If you want me to part with it, send me a pm!
