A friend just bought an old Western Flyer 24" 3 speed 3 wheel girl's bike. I get the job of restoring it. I haven't worked on a bike since I was a kid.
I'd appreciate any information as to history, parts, manuals, repair & maintenance, just anything, because I know nothing.
I don't know if it's supposed to have a hand brake or if braking is done by turning the pedals backward. There's a hole in the fork that looks like it might be a mount for a brake, but nothing's there, & there's no cable or handle for it.
The shifter seems to have only 2 positions, though I haven't tried to shift it on the move, since the spokes are loose & tires are flat & rotten. Thanks, everyone.
