Hey, Sailorbenjamin
What type of fork is that on your 1928 Raleigh? I have one that looks identical on my 1960's era Jaubert. Please see this link: https://www.geocities.com/fritz125541/Jaubert Yours is the first I have seen like it, but I live a sheltered life.

I think it's the standard Raleigh fork for the time. I haven't seen many fully chromed ones though. I think the older ones had a little more bend to them to compensate for the relaxed frame angles.
I'm betting thats a Raleigh fork on you Jaubert.
I really dig that bike of yours, by the way.

Yes, I believe it is a replacement fork, but fully chromed. Looks like the bike was in a accident at some point before I owned it - I finally noticed a "bump" in the frame (downtube, I think - the diagonal one that goes from the steering tube to the bottom bracket) right next to the steering tube after having owned this thing for nearly 40 years. Hard to believe that someone went to all that trouble for what was an entry level bike - cottered cranks, Huret components.
