Rust and CV frames--Risks?

I just bought another sort of CV frame on Ebay. 1990
Miyata. What is the risk of there being rust somewhere
inside that would damage things structurally? It looks
clean on the outside--well cared for. I plan on putting
Frame Saver inside the tubes etc. Has anyone ever
encountered a problem with old frames in this way?
I went back and forth between a new CX frame (steel)
and a used frame. The Miyata is, IMHO, better than
a frame for the same price that you could buy today but
it is older, with commensurate issues.

1990 isn't really that old. I'm sure it's fine.

ps: What model is it?

600GT. Paid too much but I figured if it is in good shape it is
cheaper than a frame of that quality would cost. I am now cobbling together a
drive train. Thanks!

Oh, the tourer.

If you want to restore it with all the original stuff, here's the full component list:

Do a search on the numerous rust threads. Depending on how it was stored and maintained, it is old enough to have internal rust. I picked up a 1992 that looked great on the outside, but had some serious internal rust.
