ISO: Yakima or Thule locking roof racks (2), preferably not the fork mount type.

Maybe someone bought a nice new car with its own fancy-shmancy roof rack and you don't need your old ones? Just maybe...
Do you just need the cross bars or a whole system? What vehicle are you getting it for? I have a roof rack kit that came off a Mercedes Benz ML-320 (I think) that might work depending on what part you need. I'd be willing to let go of it cheap.

Have: Some DA 740X bits, some Shimano 600 bits. New stuff.

Nick, I think your best bet on white vinyl bar tape is Benotto Cello tape; it's still readily available on fleabay, frequently for under $10 BIN.

I've had pretty good luck with Origin8 white pebble finish tape. Not as padded as some of the others and a little thinner, but it has aharder finish that seems to resist dirt and grime. It's also sometimes sold as a repackaged item by Niagara (I think).

ISO: crankset with a 5-bolt 144b.c.d. Crank arms can be anything from 165-175 long. Something that will work on an American or Italian bike with standard tapers and pedal threads.

I've got a chainring I want to use on a bike but none of my "old" bikes seem to have the right b.c.d. to use it (except for the track bike but this is the wrong tooth count for that)

(edited out the bikes, moved them to local market)
(I'll delete this if I find one at the LBS spares/junk bin)

I'm looking for a couple of clincher rims to match some I have on hand:

--one Mavic T217 700c w/ a silver satin finish, 36 hole.
--one Mavic Open SUP CD, 622 x 13, dark anodized; a complete front wheel would be fine, too.

I have lots of stuff to trade, particularly 70s era parts as well as wheelsets or rims. Let me know what you're looking for.
