the pewter anodized 105 dual pivots are 1055, mid 90's. I think they went polished or black with the 9-sp era...

Got some new stuff, really want some different stuff:

- First gen Campagnolo Chorus group (mostly complete) in near new condition: 170 length crankset, cartridge square taper Italian bottom bracket, short cage rear derailleur, 28.6 clamp on front derailleur (willing to do whole or break up)
- C-Record Friction DT shifters
- Dia-Compe Royal Compe II single pivot brakes
- Two sets of Dia-Compe aero levers, one pair is NOS
- A pair of Shimano Exage Motion aero levers
- Various DT shifters
- Sachs 7 speed freewheel (Like new)
- Regina Oro 6 speed freewheel
- Shimano 105 wheelset: freewheel hub set laced to semi-aero Matrix rims in Ti finish. These wheels are mechanically and cosmetically, very close to new
- Cinelli 120mm quill stem
- Cinelli 64-42 bar
- Dura Ace 7400 27.2 seat post with fluted shaft. The flutes are painted in a few different colors
- Avocet saddle in pretty good condition
- Rear wheel: Shimano 600 freewheel hub laced to Mavic MA40 700c clincher, very little use.
- Vintage Suntour MTB group: Dia Compe XCM
- Nice road touring group: Shimano RSX triple, with cold forged alloy crankset (175 arms), 31.8 clamp on FD, long cage rear derailleur, (matching dual pivot SLR brakeset and 7 speed cassette wheelset available) This set is made out of polished alloy and would be classy upgrade/addition to your touring project.
- SPD mountain shoes in varying conditions from great to NOS!
- Tange cyclocross/touring fork, threadless 1-1/8" New

Non-bike:

Two vintage record players:

- Garrard Lab 80 project
- Pioneer PL-512 (full manual, belt drive)

and

- Cannon A-1 35mm SLR camera
- Sony TC-530 7" reel to reel recorder/player with extras

DON'T FORGET: Nearly all of the stuff I have posted on here before is still available. If in doubt, ask!

WANT

For my Colnago:

- Dura Ace 7700 Italian BB or similar quality BB (other crank interfaces considered)
- Shimano 53-39 crankset with 170mm arms or similar (Ultegra 6500 preferred, others considered)
- Other high end Road double with or with matching Italian BB
- Ultegra level or similar 28.6 front derailleur
- Good saddle

For my Univega:

- Modern Shimano (or other) road group parts. The things that matter are:
1) want a short cage rear derailleur
2) prefer stuff that is designed for 10 speed
3) dual pivot type brakes

For my Cannondale:

- DT shifters that fit the flat braze-ons
- Road double crankset
- 31.8 clamp on front derailleur
- 27.2 seatpost

Here's the rest of what I'm looking for:

- Good floor pump
- Wheels/wheelsets cassette freehub type
- Hubs: cassette freehub type
- A Dura Ace 7800 32h freehub or 32h hubset (or similar)
- 10 speed shimano cassettes 11-23 preferred
- Dura Ace 10 speed DT shifters
- Dura Ace aero brake levers
- Dual pivot brakes
- Simplex retrofriction DT shifters
- DT shifters in general
- Aero brake levers in general
- Derailleurs (all types)
- Road saddles (modern design especially)
- Brooks saddle
- Monetary compensation
- Anything else, I'm ready to deal!

While I prefer modern parts, I'm open to just about anything of quality.

Non-bike:

- Digital camera
- Old stereo receivers/other audio equipment

I'm fairly certain those C-Record shifters are retrofriction. Meaningless, I guess, if you're after the Simplex version.

Really? That's strange... The Simplex ones I tried had a lot better action than these, imo. Anyone know about this?

How can you tell they are retrofriction without a pic?

No, only the "Doppler" shifters were retrofriction. The eBay ones pictured above are standard friction levers.

ISO, 3/4" or 19mm dia seat post for old gas pipe frame. I am working on a 1970's men's Liberty 3 speed and it was missing the seat post and clamp and out of about a 100 that I have none are that small of a dia. It dosen't really matter how long it is. Any condition will do and the cheaper the better as this is for a flipper. I have tons of things I can barter for.The sooner I find one the better bike will be done in a day or 2 and would need this to sell, thanks.

yes they did make both or all three, friction, retrofriction, aka "Doppler" and Synchro (lest we forget). however it can be a bit difficult to tell the difference especially if installed. the retrofriction do not have the typical 'nylon' pressure washer. if you gents like I can try and scan the parts/service catalog again.

I think the ones in rat fink's ebay may be retrofriction. and these in the pic regular friction. the most notable difference being the shape of the washer at the mounting screw.
