They are Mavic pedals. Lucky because they are high quality or what?

Actually owned a pair right when they came out, and they were nice, I seem to remember. The ones here came on my recent Colin Laing double acquisition.

yes, IMHO they are extremely nice and hard to find, too (that's where the luck comes in).

All is well. It WAS the stupid wedge after all. I got another wedge from another stem, ran the bolt through, and with only a little resistance, it spun through and repaired the threads on the bolt. I installed the wedge and bolt onto the stem, and it tightened normally. The difference in the threads was night and day on the two wedges. The one that was on it, wobbled loosely. The one I put on, had not even a hint of movement. My theory is that the threads were so large on on the wedge, that it pulled the very tops of the bolt threads off, leaving the majority of them intact. Once I ran the bolt through the "new" wedge, there was no perceptible difference in diameter. As tight as I was able to get it, I am confident it will hold. The original wedge goes out with the trash tomorrow morning.,,,,BD

Anyone? jebensch offered me a Suntour Blaze RD for it. Can anyone top that before I'm forced to accept?

ISO - Missing or corroded Campy brake hardware as shown in this photo:

So, I guess what that means is a good adjuster would be nice, but the quick release pivot mechanism is simply missing from what I have. This is a '71 Raleigh Professional that I am hoping to bring back to (at least) decent original condition so I'm looking for NR equipment from that era.

In trade, I have buckets worth of entry-mid-level Japanese drivetrain parts, various forms of quill pedal sets, and some '80s vintage 700c forks...nothing terribly exiting, but all quite functional.

Anyone have a front clincher that will match my rear? I have a Shimano 600 to Mavic Open 4 CD, so any mavic with the same grey finish (or a Matrix or something) I'd prefer 28-32 spoke.

I have a Campagnolo Chorus 7 speed RD, Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed 172.5 53/39 crankset.

I should have two of these somewhere but I can't find them. I hope I did not leave it behind when I left a shop.

PM me if you do find one - I definitely could use it in place of the rusty dome bolt that's there now!

Looking to trade one of my bikes/frames for a Good/nice touring bike/frame. Let me what you have and what you think would be a fair trade. I have too many frames/bikes to list but PM me and hopefully we can work something out. It's for the wife. It should be able to fit large tires as we want to be able to ride some easy dirt trails with the kids in tow.

Gil

Size: 54cm but a 52cm or 56cm will work.

ISO:

Campy 102mm cartridge bottom bracket in italian thread.

I have among other things:

Campy 102mm cartridge bottom bracket in English thread,
Campy 107mm(I think) cartridge bottom bracket in English thread,
Shimano 6400 bottom bracket in Italian thread,
Shimano 7400 bottom bracket in Italian thread.

As you can see, I have everything BUT the BB I need. Help a guy build an italian steed as Tullio intended!
