it seems like a lot of trial and error-stick one in there, try to get a rough measurement of how much more or less space you need, then try again with a different one. there is probably a better way, but that works for me. now measuring spoke length is still one I have to learn, Sheldon Brown's explanations didn't quite do it for me on this one.

Italian bb needed
I need an Italian 115mm bb. It is for a campy triple. I guess it needs to be either a campy or a Tekon.

Wtb: Japanese road frame!
I am on the lookout for a top-of-the-line 1980s Japanese road frameset. Along the lines of the Miyata 912, Lotus Competition, or something similar. 60cm. Preferably Japanese, but if you have a nice 80s road frame in that size you are looking to get rid of, please get in touch!
Thanks!
Thanks!

It may be a bit "un-classic", but did you see the Lotus Aero Super Pro at the end of this thread?

Have: older dahon Boardwalk converted to fixed gear, fixed/fixed rear hub, 20" wheels.
looks a lot like this one without the steerer/top tube strut.
want: interesting offers? frames/wheels/other folders or other ideas.

I had this posted in the Road Cycling section for a while where I thought it might generate more interest:
Have:
2004 Felt F70 in good mechanical and fair cosmetic shape. 52 cm aluminum frame with carbon fork. There is some paint missing that I believe was due to a previous owner hanging a lock on the top tube.
More photos are available here.
Lots of vintage stuff if you are of that persuasion.
Want:
A 57-58 or so aluminum frame and fork, cosmetics unimportant, does not have to be fancy. I would like either something with time trialing in mind or a CX frame (for two different builds obviously) budget brands are OK too. Ideally for a TT bike I want something with a cut-away seat tube and rear facing dropouts, a Leader would be perfect. The CX bike is self explanatory, something like a bikesdirect Motobecane is fine.
-OR-
Lugged steel, Japanese preferred. Race-grade tubing, Tange 1 or prestige, the better variationa of Ishiwata, Miyata STB, or quad butted VaLite. Examples including but not limited to: Centurion Iron Man, Miyata 912 or Team, Fuji Club or Team, Panasonic DX-5000+, etc. You get the idea.
But without any luck yet so I thought I'd mention it here. I'm pretty open on frame trades, make me an offer. It's a nice little bike, and being the only modern (road) bike in the house I have to say it's weight was really impressive.
I also just got a new Italian threaded Shimano UN-54 today in 118 from a friend who bought the wrong size. I don't have any (working) Italian bikes at the moment and no particular love for cartridge bottom brackets so pretty much anything would be more useful. I want lots of different stuff but I've never had any luck with my ISO/WTB postings so just offer me something interesting for it and I'll get back to you.

Want: "Fuji" Engraved crankset, there were a number of variants, but were typically Fuji branded Sugino Maxy/Super Maxy cranks, like these ones:
Again, there were a number of different ones, but they all have "Fuji" engraved on the arms. I have stuff to trade, typically old japanese components, or money.

I came into possession an old MTB Deore LX freehub wheel. It's a first release Parralax shell model. Looks just like all the lower end Shimano MTB freehubs of today. It's missing a rubber booty seal on its NDS. It resembles #15 in the parts pic:
https://techdocs.shimano.com/media/te...9830608947.pdf
I thought this would be a pretty common item at loosescrews or biketools.etc, but neither seems to carry it.
Anyone have one in their parts bin? After a thorough cleaning, the wheel is reusable, bearings still smooth. I'd hate to toss it over a rubber seal.
No. 2:
Oh yes....along with the MTB wheel, there was a road wheel too. It's a Shimano 600 HB-6207 rear standard hub. The axle set is missing. Anyone have an 600 axle/cones/spacers in decent shape?
TIA!

I just bought 2 bikes, and the wife is going nuts.. So here goes. BTW pics will be up soon.
57cm Pinarello. 1990 SLX tubing chrome stays and fork. brand decals on dt are peeling/off. a little bit of rust spackling on the stays. came with croche-detan ( or however you spell it, too lazy to look it up), including brakes. rd inside plate is broken, but still shifts. white hoods on levers are good, although if you want the levers, you get the stem and handlebars as well , i dont trust myself to remove them. hubs laced 3x to 4cd's
57cm Eddy Mercxx Century, 1992. much better condition, just a few scratches/ pinsized rust spots
record deltas, phil hubs laced to open pros, record crank/bb/fd/rd
selle san marco concour light
10speed record crank, big ring is shark-finned, 39 is fine.
looking for a pmp crank, gippieme track crank/bb, or anything else interesting

i have 2 vintage frames/bikes that i need to move along. i'd be interested in hearing what people have to offer for them. i need a wheelset and other interesting offers.
first is what i believe to be a vitus frame.
super vitus drop outs seat tube cc-54 cm
seat tube ct-55,5
top tube cc-55
rear space-130mm
frame weight 2,24kg
27.2 seatpost, english thread BB
second is a '78 or '79 Serotta Titan. this is built up as a complete bike right now, with
dura ace rear derailleur, not sure which model but works with 9 speed
ultegra 9 speed front der
dura ace 9 speed cassette
dura ace 9 speed DT shifters
ultegra 9 speed Brakeset
brand new shimano 105 level wheelset
Chris King GripNut threaded headset
campy brake levers
cinelli criterium bars, 26.0
dura ace BB
Mavic Starfish Cranks
1in threaded nashbar carbon fork or threaded serotta aluminum fork, purple
3ttt stem, 110mm 26.0 Seat tube is 56 c-c and the top tube is 55.5 c-c
it has a lot of paint damage and 2 dime sized dents, one minor one right above the s in serotta on the seattube and a deeper one on the backside of the headtube. frame checks out as a-ok to ride, no problems.

I happen to have one of those rubber seals...about 3 feet away from my foot right now. (actually the whole axle/cones/etc).
It's from an older Alivio hub...let me know if you think it would work.

I have a HB-6208 parts hub. It has a good axle, cone (only one but it's in good shape), a washer and a locknut. I couldn't figure out how to find the older parts on that Shimano site so I can't tell you the exact parts. PM me if you're interested.

How long of an axle do you need? All I have is an axle, but you can have it if the length is right. Somehow, I came across some Ti axles and swapped 'em in, now have the originals....

Would like one of these down tube cable stops. Brand unimportant.

For Trade:
Alex ACE19 10-sp only wheelset with chrome Forumla hubs identical to the 2004 Dura Ace (has the deeper splines and the freehub is aluminum)
Silver alloy rims, black spokes. 36h radial laced front and 1x in the rear.
They came on a Specialized XCross and the guy who sold them to me swore they'd fit any 9/10. He was wrong, now claims poverty, medical bills, etc.
Not quite worth throwing him off an highway overpass, but it's a thought.
Will consider:
Chorus calipers
Chorus crank set
DA calipers
DA 7700 FD
DA 7700 RD
8/9/10 wheelset
