I've recently come into possession of a Bianchi Europa and I need some better background info on it. It's a lugged, double butted, steel frame with a steel fork & down-tube shifters.

It's color scheme is the traditional Celeste Green (is there any other "true" Bianchi color) with purple lettering.
I'm no roadie so I'm not sure how original it is considering it's running a 300LX rear dérailleur and if I remember correctly that's supposed to be MTB fare from the early '90's. I'd need to know if I'd run into any difficulties modernizing it a bit. ie new cartridge style BB, Chris King headset (1" threaded). I haven't had a chance to tear it down yet to check it out for myself as I've been swamped at work, but any info I could get would be greatly appreciated.
