True, I liked it better as a front rack before it broke, but it serves as one heck of a nice prop for Gauge 1/G-scale railroad equipment. Can't complain!

P.S.: Don't mind the overspray on the bench. There isn't anything there that isn't jammed, worn, or useless.

I know - smokebox is destined to be black.

No need to paint what won't need the red - the roof is also partially primered.

I thought about that just as I typed it, It must be either Graphite or Black!

James from the Thomas series or Hogwarts Castle??

Can't be anything GWR though with that firebox.

Could the rack be cut slightly shorter and mounted as a rack on the front wheel? I like racks in the front.

It is a front rack. Drove me nuts when it broke, for they aren't that common.
