Our Stuff !

Did you guy,s (across the "Tropical Pond") get many or any of our Aussie bikes ? (such as eg: Repco,or Malvern Star ?) C/V ers here hold them in high esteem, in the old days riders like Hubert (Oppy) Opperman attained great success (esp on the Malvern Star 5 star) ,knowing that some of you guys are not only avid collectors but well learned bike historians is there any Aussie bikes in your collection ? if so what and can we see them ?

They're as rare as the proverbial hen's teeth - at least around this part of the US. I've heard of Malvern, but not Repco until just now. The Malverns with the odd and intricate symbols painted on them are interesting, but not my cup of tea, so I wouldn't go searching one of them out any more than I would search out a Hetchins. I say this not to denigrate the bicycles, but rather to simply state my personal preferences. I know a couple people who own both and love them.
