My Bianchi folder in the snow

It's been snowing all day here. Rather than walk to work today I decided to take the folder. I usually ride one of my MTB's in the snow but didn't feel like pulling one out. I was really surprised by how well my lil Bianchi did today especially considering it runs huge perfectly slick high pressure tires. Not a single slip or slide unlike all the auto's about! I rode it to and from work and then around town after nobody else showed up. It was a fantastic day!

Looks like fun. I'll have to look for one of those pint-sized bikes myself.

Ya.....I pulled into the carport to shake off the snow and decided to take a pic and backed it out after grabbing the camera....

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Nice! My husband dropped me off at work this morning, and we had virtually no customers. I finally left at 2.30 pm, and saw only one bike rider (I was walking).

Before you know it you WA staters will be posting up pictures like the one below. Who said what about global warming? Humph!

That was the pile outside my house on April 1 of this year. Note the top of the windows. If I have this much snow 2009, I might become an Army Chaplain and volunteer for a tour in Iraq.

Those bikes are a blast! You can also look for the Nealeco brand if you're looking for that frame.

I put whitewalls the purple Bianchi I used to have. Generator headlamp still worked and everything. I rolled with a slightly less elegant rear basket than kpug - I had a milk crate tied to the rack with inner tubes.

EDIT: Interesting pics here. Looks like Safari and Barbarella are other names to look for.
