I took a chance on the folder the other day, 10 miles one way, to work. It was a fun little ride, spinning my butt off, even with the new chain ring bolted to the old. The wheels are a big messy problem. I don't know where they came from, but I'm not sure I want to ride any further without a new set of wheels, and it may be that I have to build them myself.
