Just a lil handi work with a drill and a selection of files. I'll need some threadlocker on the screw that holds it in place since it (the screw) moves sometimes while shifting working everything loose seeing that this shifter was designed for the clamp on band and not a downtube boss.. but it basically works.

Love bar ends and I really wanna put em on this machine, though its my race bike and I feel I'll probably need the STI shifting for the back.. but who knows maybe I will feel inspired enough to do what I really want.

wait, did you drill out the center of the lever mounted on the bike? If so, then that is awsome!

That treatment was quite common to Campy levers in the 70s...

Its a no-name deal, someone sells em on ebay, ive been quite happy with it, 43mm rake and weighs just under a pound.
