What size do you think the frame is? I'm thinking 57cm. And yeah I'm pretty sure if the fork existed the seller would've mentioned it.

This is about $100 more than I remember seeing them for in the bike shop. Do you think it would hurt his feelings if I told him I could head down to my nearest pawn shop and buy this same bike for less than $200?,,,,BD
Electra Straight Eight like new!
EDIT:
I just searched these, and the newest model comes with disc brakes, and MSRP is $1050??? Good luck. I guess some people would spend a grand on a single purpose cruiser bike, but there's no way they're getting that from me. To me a cruiser is worth $550 maximum, and it had better be damned nice for that kind of money. At $1050 I would expect it to at least have an electric motor, or something to make it worth that. Regardless though, the one in question is from 10-12 years ago

Ditto on the $20 price! We have a live steam old fashioned full size train that regularly runs the rails on our local mup which would add a potential face to face meeting as a fun inducement to try out the bike!

I'd pay double for that bike....that thing is awesome lol!!
I wonder if it would be quicker if you removed the tires and just ran on the rims...

Traction might be an issue, metal to metal. And the dished section of a bike rim would provide even less contact than the flanged wheel of a train car would. And even less weight pressing the rim to the rail. Try it and report back. Twenty bucks is nothing for a research project like that.

Same here. Though I've tripped over them when I've had too much to drink before.

This after some cleaning, would be worth more on ebay.
A couple of years ago, this late 60s frame would of sold for over $500.
For $50 and close by I would of bought it and built it up.

Does this ad remind any one else of an archaeological dig?
