Help needed to identify a neglected carlton

An nice old couple gave me this bike earlier this evening. I think it is a low end carlton, but I can't find any information or images on this model. can anyone help me identify it? I haven't had the chance to have a proper look at it yet. I will strip it down tomorrow. under the bottom bracket there is a code: 4833470
I believe there is one on the drop out but haven't noted it down yet.
Here are some photos I took of it just after I got it back:

No idea of the model, but I believe it is from the early 60's. Almost looks like a precursor to the Carlton built Raleigh International.

All Carltons are good

You might have an easier time dating the components like the derailleur or even the Brooks. The Brooks were all dated but I have never cared enough to look. I don't know if Williams dated the crank arms.

A picture of the rear derailleur might help.

It has a pretty long chain stay which would say 60's but not as much fork sweap as I would expect.

Try precursor to the Raleigh Grand Prix.

Thanks for all your replies. I think I have found it, although the chain wheel and rear derailleur don't match up:

Worth restoring? it feels a little on the small side....
