I've only got two bikes...

...and I couldn't be happier about it.

I gave away my old Trek 930 to a neighbor today who went riding with us this week on a way too small borrowed bike. Had to find a seatpost for it today at the swap meet and got him all set up with a quality ride that fits.

I've sold a few the last couple months, and dismantled one.

I'm now the proud owner of only two bikes.

Maruishi RX-6 "beach cruiser"

Raleigh Sprite 27 3 speed

Now if I could just clear out these bike parts...

Why did you get rid of the Motta?

Urban art looks much better than a white garage door. Of course, if I hung out in SS/FG, I bet I'd learn urban landscape is the substitute for the white garage door. Makes for greater visual appeal, nonetheless. Ride on.

the Motta was a 56 - the Raleigh is a 60-61, the Maruishi is a 63

plus I turned a tidy profit on the Motta frame - not to mention, it is in use again as a road racer, in vintage steel races
