Another Zunow thread...
Hey guys, Zunows are pretty hard to find info on and the one catalog on the Bulgier site doesn't have anything remotely close to the bike in the pic, what do y'all think? Aluminium tubes with steel lugs? It looks like an old Shimano 600 group but I cannot tell for sure.
The seller has had this bike listed on and off for months and it hasn't sold, I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing....it is a bit snug for me but I could make it work...the asking price is 400$CDN

Bikes: Motobecane Mirage fixed gear, Nashbar Alpha Road 5000, Bianchi Grizzly, Coppi Fiorelli, , Schwinn Trike, , GT All Terra, Old Peugeot, Nishiki 3 speed, Bugatti, Cannondale Black Lightning, Dura All, Bianchi Touring, Bridgestone T700 & more
Looks like a SR Prizm or Litage re-branded as a Zunow to me.....I'd buy it for that price then swap out for Superbe Pro or Dura Ace. I would try to talk him down a bit though.

So, where's the Zunow?
if in doubt, check for the hummingbird cast/cut into the BB shell, and all the other key lug details. there's a good thread on here somewhere with excellent pictures of them on a red Zunow.

Hmmm, Okay then.... didn't actually fit my previous understanding of the Zunow brand, but I am always happy to learn more about Osaka's finest.
I thought he only made steel frames, and San Rensho too for that matter.

Why? It's likely to be VERY rare...I've only ever seen 1 SR Litage in person and certainly never a Zunow branded one! That 3 Rensho I posted above is from a Japanese collector. I doubt they made it to this side of the ocean very often.
The last Litage I watched on ebay went for $250 plus $65 bucks for a frame and fork! It was a MTB though...Check out the NOS one for sale at the bottom of this page...

I doubt he'll ever get that price for it though!

Well, it is an hour's drive from me and it isn't exactly my size...I would rather a 58cm frame. The components are fine, provided everything is Shimano 600 but I can't help but wonder why the bike has been listed for months and months now....they take the ad down and put it back up a few weeks later. Odd.
I will ask them a couple of questions, like what type of hubs and rims the bike has and see how things progress.

Bikes: 1 trek, serotta, rih, de Reus, Pogliaghi and finally a Zieleman! and got a DeRosa
I wonder if the bike isn't selling because no one other than Kpug knew anything about them.
I looked at the original photo, said to myself 'not a Zunow' thought it was an alu frame with
zunow decals.
