If that's the case, I guess we should forget asking $350 for this little beauty...

I've got a new one:

39) Chrome Schwinn Paramounts are not "rare." Desired by collectors, perhaps; but there's at least one on eBay every week, if not two.

wheel size... i.e. 26" or 27" does not tell us the size of the bike.

that may have already beeen thrown out there. i am incredibly tired and just saw a listing with that as a size. didn't go back and re read the thread.

I've been inspired by this:

https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/bik/1205714537.html

40) If you're asking more than $100.00 for a bike, it should be rideable. Put air in the tires.

x) The phrase "frame off restoration" means nothing. Sounds good, means nothing.
y) While we're on #27, what you're doing is not restoration. What Jim Cunningham does at Cycleart is restoration. Spraying the bike with clearcoat, the tires with hairspray, and doing a minor overhaul is not "restoration". It's primping the bike for sale.
z) And if you spray the frame with clearcoat, the tires with hairspray, and perform a minor overhaul, it doesn't magically make a 20$ Free Spirit worth 300$. It's still worth 20$.
z1) Rattlecan paint jobs are not really paint jobs. And spraying over the Huffy, Free Spirit, or other gas pipe name brand does not magically make it worth more. The magic in that can of Krylon is limited.

Inspired by our local Craigslist, I thought I'd add in these.

Why would you spray your tires with HAIRSPRAY?

If you will go back and look at Tempest, a rattle can can go a long way.
