identifying bike
im looking in to buying this bike but im not exactly sure what it is
im sure you guys could easily help me out


it looks like a team miyata(sp?), im not sure what supreme parts are maybe
if you recognize the bike could you also tell me what u think its worth?

Have you looked here? Judging by the color combo and decals I'd assume early 80's. Suntour Superbe components are some of the best of the era IMO. In short...Nice bike! There is a value forum for your last question...

i found out its a 1981 Team Miyata, or at least thats what i can figure from the pictures
if anybody else would chime in with some extra info it would be greatly appreciated!

Really good vintage road bicycles are a product of frame quality material choice, assembled with care by someone who knows what they are doing and then fitted with quality components. Moreoften than not, these three elements will produce a quality bicycle that will be a treat to ride.
The Miyata you are considering is one of these bikes, in my opinion. $200.00 is a price I would pay in a heartbeat.
